Why This Course is a Game-Changer for Intimacy Coordinators
Embodied Consent is not just about intellectually understanding consent—it’s about developing the skills to observe, support, and guide actors in maintaining their agency in every scene through a nervous system-informed and body based practice. Many courses around consent for IC’s just focus on the theoretical knowledge at the expense of the practical, and this program is here to fill in that gap. Whether you’re working on complex intimacy scenes or navigating stress on set, this course gives you the tools to create a safer and more connected environment.
In this course, you will:
- Develop a deeper understanding of the embodied experience of consent.
- Learn real-world strategies to support actors during intense or vulnerable moments.
- Gain tools to maintain your own boundaries and prevent burnout as an IC.
- Understand how to identify when an actor is no longer in a state of choice, and what to do about it.
- Use practical exercises and frameworks to elevate the safety and professionalism of your work.
